Hanna Lab app for iPhone and iPad

The Hanna Lab App turns an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a full-featured pH meter when used with a Hanna Instruments HALO® or HALO2 pH probes with Bluetooth® Smart technology, or a data management system when used with a Hanna Instruments HI98494 multiparameter Bluetooth portable pH/EC/DO meter or HI97115 Marine Master waterproof multiparameter photometer.

* HALO or HALO2 pH Probes

When used with HALO pH probes, functions include calibration (up to 5 points), measurement, data logging, graphing, data sharing and the ability to connect two HALO probes simultaneously. Measurement and logging of pH and temperature at one second intervals start as soon as the probe is connected. The measurement can be displayed with tabulated data or a graph. The graph can be panned and zoomed with pinch-to-zoom technology for enhanced viewing.

Additional features include:

- A HALO Demo mode showing all the features of the app
- Display of the probe’s condition, name, reading stability and battery life
- Sample tagging with annotations by pressing the HALO pH probe button, or by pressing the probe icon on the iOS device
- Both interval and manual data logging, as well as automatically saved data every hour
- Option to select log interval and combining consecutive logs when sharing
- Automatic or manual temperature compensation
- User-definable alarm thresholds for pH, mV and temperature
- Automatic recognition of previously connected probes and calibration data stored on probes
- Help with tutorial information on pH measurement and probe maintenance

The HALO probe’s Bluetooth® Smart technology offers many advantages in wireless measurement convenience and the probe can be used up to 10 meters (33 feet) from the iOS device. The HALO probe and Hanna Lab App are ideal for professionals and educators needing accurate wireless measurements in the laboratory, classroom and in the field.

* HI98494 Multiparameter

When used with a HI98494 Multiparameter Bluetooth portable pH/EC/DO meter, functions include data sharing and downloading. Downloaded data can be displayed as tabulated data or as a graph with user-selectable axes. The graph can be panned and zoomed with pinch-to-zoom technology for enhanced viewing. Additional features include GLP information for the previous 5 calibrations for all measurements and user-selectable measurement units.

* HI97115 Marine Master photometer

When used with a HI97115 Marine Master waterproof multiparameter photometer, functions include method groups, data sharing, and location trend data. Readings can be collected using the Hanna Lab App or synced directly from the HI97115 meter. All saved readings are visible in the log history. Readings can viewed by meter, location and method. Readings can be displayed as tabulated data or as a individual method graphs or a multiparameter graph with user-selectable axes. The graph can be panned and zoomed with pinch-to-zoom technology for enhanced viewing. A demo meter has been included showing all the features of this meter.

Hanna Lab is compatible with iOS 12 or newer and iOS devices with Bluetooth 4.0.
